Banner American Finisher 4300 Laminator Removed from service and in good condition Hot & Cold 36"- 42" Laminator Designed for 36" to 42" digital printer output. Protecting large format prints from scratching, moisture and UV requires laminating with a precision quality laminator. Ordinary laminators often won't do the job on digital graphics The Banner American Finisher 4300 is designed to laminate digital output.It thermally laminates both sides of wide format graphics. It can simultaneously mount and laminate up to 1/2" board. And, with addition of the release liner take-up option (not included in the base machine), the Finisher 4300 can do single side cold laminating. RollerShoe Heat Shoes: Idler rollers, precisely set to keep film from dragging on the heat shoe, eliminate film scratches. Heated Laminating Rollers: To complement the RollerShoe heat shoes, the laminating rollers are heated to provide fast warm-up time. An on-off switch allows running of the machine with the laminating rollers heated or not heated, depending on the application Adequate space is required for and around the 56"L x 27"H x 36"D, 370 lb. machine, as well as a single phase 30 amp 208-240 VAC power source. Most parts are easily replaced. The Nip (front) Roller and Pull (back) Roller are both the same part, and can be interchanged. Some control knobs are standard pieces that can even be purchased at a hardware store or ordered from supply catalogs such as W.W. Grainger. Also, for ease of cleaning, the heat shoes and fan assembly can easily be removed. Mounting with this machine, rather than with spray or other glue mounts shows a significant savings in time and mess. Perhaps most importantly, the Finisher 4300’s process and materials are non-toxic, as compared to other products that are extremely flammable and harmful if inhaled. Orso tells us that, typically, most print shops and others that use the Finisher 4300 for between three and four hours a day find that their unit pays for itself in six to nine months. The machine presents a viable option for laminating and mounting wide format projects in house, with stand-out ease of use and incredible durability.
