Barbieri color reflection densitometer with software.  It comes with a nice enameled steel calibration tablet.  It uses colored  LEDs (no bulbs to burn out) that flash for about 2 seconds to take the measurement (8mm aperture). It does not display measurements on its own, but requires a computer connection via a USB port.  The driver for windows computers is supplied along with software that displays and logs the measurements. See the picture for a screen shot. The software supports logging the measurements to a chosen file in csv format which is easily read into a spreadsheet.  The user can add comments on the measurements, delete displayed measurements or change the comment fields.  The unit is calibrated by entering the calibration tablet values into the program form fields and hitting the calibrate button, then measuring the white and black calibration dots.  The values and calibration will be saved so it doesn't have to be repeated the next time the program is used, but it can be recalibrated any time.  The software is compatible with Win 10.
