Barnstead NANOpure Four Filter Water Filtration System For sale- a Barnstead NANOpure Four Filter Water Filtration System with a Sybron megohm-cm Digital Resistivity Meter catalog number D2770. I do not see a model number on the NANOpure anywhere. The filter unit is in good physical condition although the plastic appears to have yellowed with age. The only functional issue is that one of the O-rings on the mount underneath the Barnstead name appears to have been replaced with one thicker than the others, and I cannot get that filter housing to thread on with it in place. With the O-ring removed it screws right on so it isn’t a problem with the threads. So as it sits you would need at least one replacement O-ring unless you were able to force it on somehow. I have similar filter systems off in another warehouse, I will see if one of those O-rings can be substituted for the one on this one. But until I update the listing to reflect success in that regard please assume that you would need to replace it yourself. The megohm-cm resistivity meter powers up as you can see, the display reads 18.2 constantly. Don’t know if that was the last thing it measured or maybe there is still water in the line or that is what you would expect to see with the system drained. Untested other than as pictured and described, sold as is, and NO warranty is offered. However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale, no returns allowed. Return would be for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping costs. Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been thoroughly tested. As such it may work fine or it may have problems, so any purchase entails a certain degree of risk. In either case it is up to you to decide whether the risk level is acceptable to you, and if not you need to pass on this particular item. The last picture shows the filters that were in the holders when I bought the thing, so presumably they were able to use it in spite of the mismatched O-ring. The old filters are NOT included, they are too heavy to ship just to have you throw them away and I would have to assume you would want to start off with fresh filters. If for some reason you want them and I haven’t already tossed them (which won’t be long) you are welcome to them at no additional charge other than whatever increase there is in the shipping as a result of the added weight. Unless/Until they can fix it the only thing I can do is to plug my zip, your zip, the weight and dimensions in at fedex.com to arrive at a shipping cost for your particular shipment. So if ebay isn’t providing a shipping cost automatically, you can always go to fedex.com and estimate it yourself.
