You are bidding on a used Barnstead Still (Distilling Machine) which was used in a science lab at a local university. Our company was asked to remove the still from the science lab, which was undergoing renovations. The still has been carefully disassembled, and is now stored in our warehouse. I have no reason to believe that this still is not in good working order. That being said, we did not test it prior to dis-assembly. Quite frankly, we didn't know how to operate the still, and we didn't want to attempt to test it with the customer standing around. There are no visible signs of damage, and the still looks to be in good condition, with normal signs of wear. We are selling this still "AS IS" because we were unable to test it.    Please note that this does not appear to be an electric system. As such, I believe you will need a separate steam source. (Look at photos showing steam supply lines.)
