BEARING FOR PAD DRIVER PLATE CLARKE PART # 50736A FOR THE CLARKE OBS-18 or OBS-18 DC ORBITAL SANDER The bearing is rated EMQ (Electric Motor Quality) and double sealed. This is very important in an application where the bearing operates right down there in the dust and grit. It has an expected life of double that of the bearing supplied by Clarke! Includes 3 new retainer screws. We will email you a PDF copy of our instructions, with color photos, for removing and installing (see photos above). We also carry the set of four rubber base plate springs (part # 10666A). Plus, as a money-saver, we offer the spring kit and bearing together, at a savings of $6.50. It's a good idea to replace both at the same time, as they tend to wear at about the same rate; plus, it eliminates the hassle of pulling the base plate twice! We also offer a complete rebuild kit for the OBS. This includes a brand new pad driver grip face, set of 4 rubber springs with lock nuts and lock washers, plus this bearing. These are all the parts which commonly wear out on the OBS--all you need to restore your machine to "like new" operating condition!
