Found in Maine….a pair of vintage BASHLIN Aluminum Adjustable Pole Tree Climbing Linesman Gaffs SPIKES, with a vintage ROSE safety belt…. All sold *AS IS*/Parts only! Overall, the metal parts of BASHLIN gaffs/spikes look good, normal usage marks…. The leather bottom straps shows age, etc.. so these may need replaced for safety reasons! The metal “spikes” look good, one of the leather spike protectors is loose, due to the Velcro piece becoming unstitched (see pic).. maybe you can re-stitch it! These gaffs are adjustable with 2-screws. The top BUCKINGHAM padded parts also shows age/usage wear, and may also need replaced…The old Velcro does seem to still hold, but there is some old, “gummy” foam padding from the inside that seems to be coming out of the section where the tops insert inside (see pic), the leather looks aged, but nice patina! The ROSE belt is dated “1974”… again….a vintage belt, all there, but usage wear.. don’t know if it is still usable?? There you go… I’m sure someone can use these, or replace pieces.. they seem like a quality item! If the winning bidder decides to forego the padded tops, or the ROSE belt, I can leave them out of the auction to save some on the shipping! (Just let me know) Strictly sold AS IS..I am not an expert on these, so feel free to ask questions~
