Basic Chiropractic Procedural Manual, 1973 publication of the American Chiropractic Association.260 pages, bound in vinyl cover. See table of contents in photo; book has many photos and illustrations. There are handwritten notes on a few pages of the book (at least on pp. 48-53, p. 199; there may be others that I missed), but otherwise pages appear generally to be in excellent condition.  The manual seems to have a special focus on geriatrics but most sections seem intended to be broadly applicable.  A foreword notes the following: "It is significant that the chiropractic's inclusion in Medicare coincides with the beginning of the American Chiropractic Association's Decade of Progress," and goes on to imply that this manual was tied in with "Phase I of the medicare seminars" for ACA members. Also included are a few looseleaf sheets that were in the manual; two of them are pictured.  A "Chiropractic Geriatric Case History and Physical Examination Form," an American Chiropractic Supply Corporation price list for X-Ray equipment and accessories; and also a flier from Vita-Herbs, Inc., about the Bio-Dynamics Unimeter 300 and Select-a-Fuge 630; and a "Medicare Seminar Survey" distributed to participants. All in all, a rare document of an interesting moment in chiropractic history! Feel free to drop a line with any questions.
