Bates Stamp Main Features: Six wheels. Style "E". Sorry I do not know its date of manufacture. Sorry I do not know its provenance. Included: Bates stamp. One new ink pad. No box. Condition: Used and fair to good condition. No apparent mechanical defects. Scratches, scuffs, dirt and surface corrosion. See photos. These stamp was probably used by an attorney somewhere for many, many years. Why selling: I had purchased this from another eBay seller to present as a gift to my attorney's paralegal. In the end, the attorney double-crossed me (used in place of the actual description of what he did to me). Please note: This vintage relic will make a nice gift for that attorney or paralegal in your life. If you can think of another use for this, please let me know (in case I end up being stuck with it).
