Clamp-aid end guards protect you from cuts or injury often associated with unprotected hose clamp bands. Clamp-aid end guards are great for use on Boats, Yachts, RV's, Household plumbing, HVAC, Industrial equipment, Construction equipment, Irrigation systems and anything that involves the use of hose clamps. Clamp-aid end guards are designed to fit on the exposed "Tail" of 1/2" wide worm gear hose clamp bands, they can also stretch to accommodate the larger 9/16" wide Marine clamp bands. One of our customers used clamp-aid on 5/8" wide band and it worked fine although we do not recommend that. Clamp-aid end guards are available in 7 different colors: Blue, Black, Yellow, Red, Orange, Green and Gray. Colors can be used for color matching to hoses, engines etc... The different colors can also be used to Color code hoses for instance Red to identify a gas line or a hot water line, Blue for fresh water or cold water, Green for raw water etc... Can withstand temperatures up to 266 °F (average marine and automotive engine compartments rarely exceed 190°F). Can stretch to accommodate larger marine clamps.
