The Auto Syringe AS50 Infusion Pump offers accurate delivery of fluid and drug solutions, whole blood, and packed red blood cells required for today's clinical environment. This pump can be administered intravenously (IV), intra-arterially (IA), epidurally or subcutaneously. Furthermore, it can provide secondary solutions automatically, with programmable infusion rates of 0.01 to 438 mL/hr. The pump can support standard disposable syringes (ranging from 1 mL to 60 mL), and is programmed via numeric keypads that simplify its usage. The status display prompts users to introduce data about the syringe and the infusion. It also provides a safety bolus operation, dose titration without interruption of fluid flow, and alarm/alert messages that ensure the unit operates effectively and safely. Additionally, the pump contains an optional serial communication feature providing remote computer control and monitoring capabilities, with an RS-232 communication link between the pump and the host computer.
