I have Worked in some of the biggest hospital systems in the East coast I know the importance of this equipment if you find any problems with this infusion pump I will refund your money back no questions asked. The importance of having a new battery is crucial. Most units that I have worked on when I recieved it had a battery two or more years old. If you unplug the unit while it is working and the battery is bad the pump will shut down and when you go to turn it on again there will be a error code and most of the times you will need to get a new battery and go into the configuration and reset your date and time.
