We had to insert a small screwdriver into the hols on the side to manually unlock the lid to open it. It has some wear and tear from normal everyday use, and the included rotor lock doesn't stay on to lock the rotor for some reason. It does power on, and spin up just fine, though. Our Testing: The unit was powered on. The unit spun. Sale Includes: The unit w/ power cord, and the pictured fixed angle rotor.
