This system includes the program card that contains the programming necessary for the unit to read the reagent strips. Depending on the type of strips used it can test glucose, bilirubin, keytone, specific gravity, occult blood, pH, protein, urobilinogen, nitrite, and leukocytes. This unit is a reflectance photometer that analyzes the color and intensity of the light reflected from the reagent area and displays the results in clinically meaningful units, no calculations are required.
