Bc Seal Band-self Adhesive Band Based On Butylic Mastic

DESCRIPTION Self adhesive band based on butylic mastic covered with non-woven which allows the deformation of the product. The adhesive side is protected by peel off support. APPLICATION FIELDS Sealing of wall-floor joints under tile. The non-woven covering adapts to the support form and can be covered by tile adhesive or other covering, or paints. Joints waterproofing. Slits reparation in cement or fiber-cement. Supports preparation Verify the compatibility of mastic with different supports in terms of adhesion and chemical compatibility. Application surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust. APPLICATION Remove the protection, put the band on the support avoiding the formation of air bubbles between the butyl and the support. For joints superimpose the products of at least 5 cm. The non-woven support can be repainted but, given the extreme flexibility of butylic mastic, the painted layer, covering the non-woven could present light cracks. The covering, adhesives or paints which cover the non-woven must be compatible with it. Butylic mastic is susceptible to solvents. PACKAGING Colour: Non-woven: white Butyl: grey IMPORTANT INFORMATION Avoid contact with skin. Keep away from children.
