BeaterBlade for 5-Quart KitchenAid Tilt-Head Mixers, Red Blades Blade that scrapes the bottom and sides of the bowl as it mixes. Model KA-THR fits all KitchenAid tilt-head mixers regardless of model number. Cut your mixing time by up to 50 percent with the New Metro Design BeaterBlade. There's no more trouble with scraping the bowl, because the BeaterBlade mixes the batter so thoroughly that it eliminates buildup on the blade and bowl. It's one of the most efficient kitchen tools you'll ever own. Engineered for use with top-brand electric stand mixers, such as those offered by KitchenAid, the BeaterBlade will work with any tilt-head mixer, no matter its size, age or power level. The high-quality blade includes flexible rubber wings down both its sides to simulate the action of a power spatula by continuously scraping the sides and bottom of the bowl, much like your car's windshield wiper blades. By continuously scraping the batter while beating, folding and mixing the ingredients, the BeaterBlade not only speeds up the process by as much as 50 percent, but also saves wear and tear on your mixer's motor by eliminating the need to turn the mixer off and on to scrape the bowl manually. Made in the U.S.A., the BeaterBlade is perfect for cakes, cookies, frostings, quick breads, compound butters, meatloaf, pie fillings, mashed potatoes, gum paste and other tasty foods. It washes easily and safely on the top rack of your dishwasher; just place it upside down on the rung, and use a bottle brush to clean the inside of the neck.
