Beckman Spinchron R Refrigerated Bench top Centrifuge w Swinging Basket Rotor with adjustable Tempurature and timer Scroll Down for Additional Pictures~ This centrifuge is in excellent cosmetic condition. The unit does start and spins, but there is a problem. The unit runs for 6 seconds then stop spinning. I am not sure why this unit does this. Quickly cools down to temp in minutes ( 40c to -10c) andthe set rpm in seconds (0 to 8000 ). I have posted pictures of refrigeration meter with the unit running. This centrifuge weighs 175 lbs so it will require freight shipping. I have activated the freight calculator so you can calculate your shipping costs. Comes complete with the benchtop centrifuge, power cord and 4 swinging bucket rotor. With this rotor it is variable speed up to a tested 8000 rpm. The lid has dual safety locks to prevent opening when the rotor is in motion. There is an optional electronic brake switch ( high off low ). Shows some minimal normal sign of use in a the form of a few scuffs to the case. The rotor is original to the centrifuge. The max speed is quickly reached and cools down to –10 Celsius quickly. The lid locks work.
