The package will include pieces for the following parts: 1 - Standard Floor 4 – Warre hive boxes with handles and bars. 1 – Warre quilt sections with burlap 1 – Warre gable roof assemblies with mouse boards. We ship our hives unassembled to save packaging and shipping cost and to lower the carbon footprint of this product. Our Warre hives are made according to the specifications of renowned bee keeper Abbe Warre. His design, developed over 50 years ago, has been passed down from generation to generation and is becoming the standard for bee keepers everywhere who want to help save our bee population. Our hives are made from 100% Western Red Cedar logs that have been salvaged from local cities and small landowners, sourced locally, and manufactured locally to support local business. The lumber has been kiln dried and milled to make the parts for our hives. We manufacture our hives to produce 1” thick walls providing extra insulating properties for your bees. Warre hives are great for hobby bee keepers looking for a simple, low maintenance hive to house their bees.
