This is a set of 4 standoffs for you beehives (Colors may be different from picture) to keep ants and insects from getting at your honey. Fill the well with vegetable oil or some liquid that will not evaporate to drown the ants as they try to get into the hive. The standoffs have a hole in the center so that you can screw them to the bottom of the hive if desired. other colors are available but may cost a little extra and will take time to print. These can be painted. We can make them in other colors and in multiple sets by special order just contact us before ordering. The pad of the foot is 1 3/4" across, The height is 1"The top of the upper platform is just shy of 1 1/2". I can make them a little smaller or bigger as needed, but I normally charge 4 dollar one time fee for custom work as the files need to be re-sliced. If you are buying in bulk I would waive that fee. Most of the time we print these in Fluorescent Green or translucent White but often are in whatever color I have in stock.. if you want a different color or more sets that are listed please contact me first. A word about 3D printing and our products, so that your expectations are set accordingly. 3D printing is a form of manufacturing where more and more material is added until the whole product is complete. Imagine if you had the creativity and the time and decided to make an item like a bowling pin by cutting the shape out of paper one layer at a time and then gluing them together until you had a full height bowling pin made of discs of paper. That is how 3d printing works, it lays a very thin layer of plastic down on a surface and then prints the next layer on top of that one again and again until the whole item is made. As such, no two 3D printed items are exactly alike, all 3D printed items have very fine layer lines where the layers get melted together, and nearly every 3D print job will have some minor imperfection. This simply ensures that your item is one of a kind. Any item that has a noticeable anomaly but seems otherwise fine will have a picture to show the print anomaly so you can make your own choice. We will be willing to discuss any problem that you have with the items but will not simply return them just because they are not smooth like an injection molded piece.
