It is long lasting, quiet, useful in many applications, and a very affordable option to provide consistent high power output at up to 525W 12VDC, 5VDC, and 3.3VDC continuously from 120/240VAC. It also has Over Voltage, Over Power, Over Current, Under Power, and Short Circuit Protection built in. It uses 4mm banana jack binding posts for power terminals and has a power switch.
