Bench metal Lathe, Optimum 5RAJ7, 9 x 20 inch, 1 HP, 1 Phase, like new.   I bought this Lathe in November 2013.   I did not use it much at all but I just needed to do some work on a lathe for making wooden clocks, so I had to buy one.   On picture one and two you see an overview from the machine.   On picture three you see an extension I made for more precise positioning and ease in work flow. On the X and Y axis I made two calipers. The caliper on the X axis is mounted with magnets. This makes it possible to position it in the right range.                                                                     The big advantage from it all is that you can work in metric and inches, and you also can set the display to 0 on any position without moving anything by accident! The system with the calipers makes the lathe a lot more precise!   I also put a calculator at hand, so you can easily divide the value of the diameter in two.   Under the lathe is a steel drawer cabinet with five drawers from Husky. In here I did put all the things around the lathe. All this you see on picture 4 to 7.   To accommodate the whole set up I made a wooden bench with wheels under it, so I could move it around.
