Bentonite Clay Desiccant 55 Pounds Loose Bulk - Industrial Absorbent Moisture Wa   Features: - Moisture/Water & Oil Absorbent - Absorbs up to 25% of it's weight in moisture - This listing is for 1-4mm granular Clay Desiccant - Fight mold, mildew, corrosion, and degradation with Clay Desiccant - Clay Desiccant is Non-Toxic Material  Product Description: Bentonite Clay Desiccant absorbs up to 25% of it's weight in moisture. It's a common substitute for Silica Gel (which can absorb up to 40% of it's weight in moisture) due to it's inexpensive cost. Clay Desiccant is non-indicating and reusable. Clay Desiccant is used throughout the supply chain as a moisture absorbent to preserve items by combating damaging effects of moisture including mold, mildew, corrosion, and degradation. Clay Desiccant is packaged with a variety of goods including: Food (when Clay Desiccant is packaged in Tyvek it meets government standards including: FDA, DIN, Mil-Spec, and JEDEC) Semicondustor Dry Packing Steel or Metal Components Military Goods Electrical Components Machinery & Equipment Home Storage Needs Guns & Ammunition Pharmaceutical Applications (When packaged in Tyvek) Clay Desiccant is effective with a temperature range from below freezing up to 120°F. For applications over 120°F use Silica Gel instead. Clay Desiccant  packets will not deteriorate or "swell" as it absorbs moisture.
