 This is the highly sought after, classic rare model INDIANINA Model B (named by collectors and restorers). With a low production number, it is the smallest US BK slicer ever made (exclusively for home and small pubs), much rarer than the other vintage Berkel slicers. The slicer comes from an estate, still work and I believe all parts are complete. The blade is still sharp. The blade sharpener is still there and in good condition, which is rare as well. Both emblems are still there and in excellent conditions. Size approximately: Width 67 cm (included flywheel and grip handle). Depth 50 cm. Height 47cm. Please contact me if you have any further questions.   Berkel Slicer Indiana 1918-1928 (Model B) The model Indiana, or commonly referred to as Indianina was manufactured in the American plant of La Porte Indiana during the beginning of the last century around the 1920s. The name, or rather the nickname given to this slicer was because it was manufactured in the state of Indiana, even if originally this model was named Model B. During the production of Model B small variations were applied from the original design, and it remained into production for a decade, from 1918 to 1928. The particularity that makes this slicer unique and much appreciated by the antiques market, apart from being a rarity, is that it features smaller dimensions, making it easily adaptable anywhere. The smallest slicer produced by Berkel in the 1900. It is slim and well proportioned, fitted with a 263 mm blade. The identification plates and decorations are in pure Art Nouveau style, making this splendid model history, not only among vintage slicers, but of the industrial and aesthetic revolution of the 1900.
