Up for sale is a( grouping of 4 each) BES, Glowfish II 5/32 inch diameter:3 each PCF415 (Male/Female) 3 ft length 1 each PCF414 (Bullnose/Female) 3 ft length 2 each 1/16 inch (diameter) stainless steel rod 16 inch length 1 each (1 inch container) 3 ft length These items are "used:. I used to be an electrician and one of the most common and important operations is "slicking" a wire into the wall (behind the sheet rock) either upwards or downwards. And the best way to get romex up or down the wall is by pulling-it with a "fish", inserted into the wall and extending to the point of destination. In my opinion, these Glowfish are "perfect" for this operation for the following reasons: The 3 foot sections can attach together for extending the overall length of the fish to (6 feet, 9 feet, 12 feet) The plastic film "glows" so that you can "spot-it"; for example, in the attic The reduced 5/32 inch diameter of this fish is really flexible and easy for bending inside the wall Sometimes, you have to 'poke" the fish several times to "hit" a small opening (like a 3/4 bore) through a 2 x 4. Sometimes there are blocks inside the wall that have to navigated around There are "great' attachments for these Glowfish These Glowfish are "rugged" I purchased a 3 foot container to store these Glowfish inside the truck bed. As part of this listing I am including two 1/16 inch stainless steel rods. I used these 1/16 rods for "poking' into the wall when installing a remodel outlet. I would drill 4 holes, 1/16 hole into the sheet rock outlet corners I would then use the 1/16 rod for "carefully" poking behind the wall If the rod did not "hit" anything, then it was okay to cut the wall open for the outlet installation If I "hit" something, I could "move" the location And the 1/16 hole could be "covered-up" with a small hit of caulk. In my opinion, this procedure was much better than opening the wall only to find-out that there was a water pipe and now faced with a cover-up of the damage. I am no longer in the electrical business and that is the reason for offering these items for sale. Thanks.
