BEST OFFER! Restored Maytag Model 92 Gas Engine Motor Hit & Miss Long Frame This is a nice engine in great complete condition!  It is Serial # 408661 (Made in 1929).  This has the LONG FRAME!   I have owned quite a few of these Maytags and they all have their quirks. I try to be honest about their current condition. At the moment this one wants to start and run best with carb lever set mostly closed.  I've had other ones like this that I have tweaked to run better by cleaning or adjusting the carb/mixer. It will run though if you get it set just right.    This would be a great engine for the beginning collector or to add to your existing collection. These have a very unique sound and will draw a crowd!   Feel free to ask any questions. The engine will be packed securely for shipping. The wooden base may be removed for shipping but it is only held on with four bolts. I think it may ship better with that removed. It is included though.  Thanks for looking!
