The Better-than-Ever Super Taper is drywall taping tool used to install joint tape using the “wet tape” method. The Super Taper holds up to a 500 ft. roll of joint tape and is designed to attach to the inside of a standard 5-gallon pail/bucket of joint compound. Simply load a roll of joint tape on to the Super Taper and insert the tool on to the side of the bucket. You can regulate the amount of mud that flows on to the joint tape by adjusting the wing-nut on the Super Taper. Once you have your compound where you want it you are ready to start pulling lengths of tape. Often times a user will use a Super Taper Belt wrapped around their waist that holds a smaller pail against their hip. This way, the user can pull several hundred feet of joint at one time and store it in their “hip” bucket while walking around and taping joints. If you don’t mind getting your hands a dirty (and you can wear gloves to avoid that), the Super Taper is a great and economical option to increase your taping performance.   Features: Reduces work time - little training involved Fast set up/ portable No maintenance - faster clean up Less expensive than other taping devices May be used by more than one taper at a time A must for Fire Taping
