BIAcore 1000 Surface Plasmon Renosance Analyzer Fully Automated Biomolecular Interaction Analysis INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AVAILABLE This BIAcore 1000 Analyzer came to us from a working environment. Due to the nature of this equipment, testing was limited. Please read the results of our tests in the condition section below. Unit is being sold as parts / repair, only because we are unable to fully test and warranty it. The BIAcore 1000 Surface Resonance Analyzer is a fully automated system for biomolecular interaction analysis. It gives accurate and rapid results with a minimum of operator involvement, thus speeding up the time to produce results and increasing productivity in the lab. With BIACORE 1000, all you need to do is load the samples and start a preprogrammed method. Continuous flow technology and robotic sample handling take care of immobilization, analysis, regeneration and any mixing and diluting requirements. Once the conditions are optimized the program can be run unattended with the results stored in the computer for later evaluation and interpretation. Besides increasing productivity, the elimination of manual sample handling also enhances reproducibility. It will require disposables, additional components, and software to be functional. It has been my experience that shipping these units on a pallet is the absolute best way to send them. Unit will be fully crated on a pallet, to maximize protection. Pallet is 36" x 24" x 24" and weighs approximately 155lbs. Approximate shipping costs to East Coast is $350 and to the West Coast $250. Thank You Condition I plugged the system in and it powered up [see photos]. All the LEDs on the front panel illuminated. After a brief self diagnostic period, all the LEDs went out, and the "Green Ready" LED came on. The "Temperature" LED then begins to flash. The fan spins quietly, and the fluorescent light in the work area functions as designed. No further testing has been performed. Parts/Repair Unit.
