Bicron Corporaton Model G1LE Low Energy Gamma and X-Ray Detector. Serial Number A255P. Sodium Iodide (NaI) thin 1 inch diameter crystal optimized for low energy gamma radiation such as I-125, etc, under 60 kev, and for sensitive x-ray detection. Stainless steel case with MHV connector. Operating voltage 500 – 1000 volts, dynode resistor string 110 Meg-Ohms. Some stainless steel outer housing scratches, but does not affect operation. Detector tested with I-125 and works well. Bicron G1LE detector product information literature included. This is not unknown surplus pull, or surplus, but from retiring radiation safety engineer, health physicist consultant.
