The LND-725 tube is a brand new component added to this counter and is widely regarded as the modern equivalent of the tubes found in popular CDV 700 counters. When paired with the side window GM probe, this counter boasts a reading of 1,200 CPM/mR/hour, meaning all scales can be used to accurately obtain real-time gamma dosimetry data in mR/hour. Furthermore, the internal probe has the same response characteristics as the external probe, so consistent readings can be obtained even without an external probe. The Bicron Surveyor 2000 Geiger counter is a top-of-the-line instrument that is perfect for both laboratory and field use. This counter comes with two probes and was certified and calibrated on January 8, 2015. It features an internal energy compensated probe that delivers highly accurate dosimetry measurements up to 2 Roentgens/hour. The counter also comes with a gold-plated angular adaptor that makes it easy to plug and unplug probe cables and prevents tarnishing. Additionally, a 3 foot gold plated BNC cable is included.
