This is for a Pneumatic Bimba Stainless Double End Air Cylinder, Part No. 091.5-DXDE with 1 1/2" inches of stroke and 1 1/8" Diameter Housing - 1 1/16" Bore. Mounting Both ends. Stainless Shaft measures .311" diameter and is threaded on the ends. 304 stainless steel body with mirror finish ID for long, reliable life. • Pre-lubrication with HT-99, a specially-formulated oil compound, for extensive maintenance-free performance. • Piston-to-rod connection is threaded, sealed and riveted securely in place. • Low breakaway frictional characteristics: collapsible U-cup rod and piston seals; oil-impregnated, sintered bronze rod bushing; and breakaway slots on each endcap for fast seal inflation Roll-formed rod threads on both ends for high strength. • Blow-by flats on double acting model pistons ensures proper seal inflation. • 250 psi rating. • High strength aluminum alloy porting ends, machined for minimal breakaway during initial pressurization Force exerted is .9 times air pressure. Bimba Manufacturing Company was founded in 1957 when Charles Bimba invented an inexpensive, non-repairable, stainless steel body air cylinder to replace small bore repairable cylinders. The product has since become an industry standard and Bimba remains the leading manufacturer of this type of cylinder.
