This valve was from spare parts at a plant I worked at. Maintenance did away with 2 boilers we had (no longer needed steam) and discarded this valve along with some other spare parts from the stockroom. I don't know if this was used on the boiler system or not but I am listing as used. Our maintenance foreman was very good about junking items that didn't work properly so I don't hink it would have been kept if it was removed because it didn't work right. Very clean, this is a heavy valve made of Stainless Steel or nickel plated brass or somthing similar. Valve looks gold in photo but it is actually a nickel color. There are small dimple marks on 2 sides of the base nut above the green cap and also on the vertical riser piece where a pipe wrence or locking plyer type wrench might have been used. This is the only reason I suspect it may have been installed as otherwise it  appears in new condition. Removing the green cap and looking inside, the assembly looks clean and new.
