Bio-Rad CHEF DR-II Pulse Field Gel Electrophoresis System - COMPLETE SYSTEM CHEF - Clamped Homogenous Electrical Field DR - Dynamic Regulation This auction is for a used CHEF DR-II system.  Components are listed below CHEF Control Module  CHEF Drive Module Electrophoresis Cell Cooling Module Variable Speed Pump   Also included is a variety of CHEF gel accessories, including gel casting stand, reusable plug molds (3), several disposable plug molds, gel mat, power cables, electrode cables, drive control cable, plus a variety of assorted spare parts.  ALL THE COMPONENTS/ACCESSORIES NECESSARY TO RUN THE INSTRUMENT ARE INCLUDED - You just need some buffer, agarose, and your favorite DNA sample. Unit was in use and fully working until placed in storage about 6 months ago.   Testing completed after removal from storage: Cooling module and pump are confirmed working.  Control module powers on, parameters can be set.  Drive module powers on and provides power to the pump.  Unable to fully test due to lack of buffer solutions. Save big money for your lab by purchasing used.  This system retails at >$10,000.  The added accessories alone retail for about $1000.
