ELx50™ Auto Strip Washers are self contained and programmable instruments, that allows for full control of precise fluidic delivery from the gentle dripping of a simple squeeze bottle to the full force of pressure delivery systems. The ELx50 is a fast and versatile automated strip washer equipped with the patented Dual-Action™ 16-channel manifold which allows for independent control of the dispense and aspiration manifolds for overfill washing and overflow protection in both 96- and 384-well formats. Additionally, in a 96-well format, the Dual-Action manifold?s wash performance with two sets of dispense and aspiration tubes per well guarantees low residuals. The ELx50 models handle a variety of microplate configurations. The ELx50/16 andELx50/16V 16-channel models handle all flat-bottom 96-well plates, 384- or 96-well flat-bottom plates and 1x8 flat-bottom strips. The ELx50/12 and ELx50/12V 12 channel models take all 96-well plates and 1x12 strips while the ELx50/8 and ELx50/8V takes all 96-well plates and 1x8 strips. A priming trough built into removable microplate carrier makes for easy priming and maintenance. Electronics are completely isolated from fluidic system.
