BLACK Acetal Copolymer 3/16 .188" X 17" X 23" (DELRIN) POMALUX LOT OF 3 SHEETS!! With plastic film on each side!   These are cut offs so the sizes could vary slightly (within a 1/2" or so each direction) Acetal Co-Polymer is an exceptional engineering thermoplastic used in a broad range of applications.  It has generally low mechanical and thermal properties than homo polymer acetals (standard Delrin).  The advantage over Delrin is that it does not exhibit "center line porosity."  Acetal co-polymer has many characteristics of metals such as: stiffness, dimensional stability, structural strength, and spring like resiliency.  Because of its lightweight, low thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and reasonable price- It has helped replace metals such as: zinc, brass and aluminum in many applications.  Being that acetal co-polymer has superior stability in water and chemicals at elevated temperatures up to 230 deg F, it will retain its properties over a long period of time.  Acetal co-polymer can withstand hot water applications including steam autoclaving.    * C of C available upon request * Please email us with questions regarding machining, we can quote machine work as well.   ***Free shipping to Continental US States Only. ***
