Member of the Marans chicken club. Black Copper Marans are the only color of Marans that I raise. They meet the APA standard as confirmed by show wins. Mashburns Marans is a combination of some of the finest bloodlines. Mainly Bev Davis and Wade Jeane, other breeders and years of travel to find and purchase the best Marans possible for egg color and show. Each year I breed to get a darker egg. I will never breed any Marans that is not of the standard or above egg and show quality. During the hot summer months the eggs do lighten up some. I do not wash eggs but I don't ship dirty eggs either. Consider the weather in your area before bidding, the temperatures can have an effect on your eggs. I DO SELL CHICKS Free range healthy Marans that are fed the highest quality feed from a local mill here in southern Tennessee. Your chicks will come from Marans that have acres of green grass to eat and plenty of fresh clean water to drink, scratching and digging, eating insects. If the brood stock is not healthy the offspring will not be healthy. When you purchase eggs from me you can be assured that you are getting some of the best. Eggs are always shipped fresh, clean and turned several times daily. I do not guarantee hatch rates and I will not be responsible for the postal service damage. I do personally deliver your eggs to the post office. Do check my feedback. I have happy customers. Feedback will be left when feedback is given. I do have one negative feedback from last year from a buyer that didn't know what they were buying. Please don't let one negative feedback from someone I could not please keep you from bidding on my eggs. I do offer support before, during and after the sale. I will be glad to help anyone with any questions they may have. Know what you are doing before you purchase expensive eggs. Any egg that grades below a 4 on the Marans color chart is not considered a Marans and will not be shipped. My eggs are usually 5 to 7's conservatively. I have had some off the chart but this is not the norm. Proven egg show winning lines, look at the pictures and you decide. Eggs are bubble wrapped individually using the Meeks method. I have sold and shipped hundreds of eggs over the internet. All eggs shipped are from grown hens not pullets. Eggs are time sensitive, please pay after auction ends so I can ship the next day. If you know you cant pay just wait for the next auction. If you need your eggs delivered on a certain day ask before bidding or buying. I do not ship after Tuesday unless requested by the buyer so your eggs don't have to sit in the post office over the weekend. If you are a scammer wanting free eggs don't waste your time. Negative feedback threats do not bother me. I am a reasonable seller but if you are unreasonable I can be too. I say this because some people are just not honest but MOST are. If your box is damaged wait to open it in front of your post office person so they can verify the damage. The box will not be marked unless requested. If Monday is a holiday and the post office is closed I will ship the next day. The tracking number will be on the listing. If you love Marans please join a Marans chicken club.
