Item: Black Thorens TD 520 Professional 3-Speed Precision Belt-Drive Turntable Description: You are bidding on a Black Thorens TD 520 Professional 3-Speed Precision Belt-Drive Turntable pictured. The turntable is used and in good and working condition. There are some visible aesthetic flaws pictured, such as: some scratches and stains on the information sticker. It does not come with its cartridge and original power transformer, but a supplemental power transformer will be provided. The turntable sounds good, and incorporates fine pitch adjustment. It retains the 78RPM speed with electronic cueing and shut-off. The drive system is a 1 step belt-drive. The turntable is fitted with a low voltage 16-pole synchronous motor with slip clutch and a 2-phase generator that controls the speeds of 33, 45 and 75RPM. The serial number is 10923. Overall, the turntable is a classic, and pretty good and rare, even in Europe. Please look at the picture(s) for more details and information. This turntable is sold as is without return, because I am selling it for a friend. Additionally, I do not know much about turntables other than the information provided by my friend in the description. Payment: The winner must pay via PayPal only.
