The Blue Ox is a revolutionary tree and limb lowering device for the tree care industry, arborists and tree workers alike. It is constructed of 6061 aircraft quality aluminum to combine high strength AND light weight. The Blue Ox double bollard weighs only 30 lbs! Unlike other devices such as the Port a wrap, which requires other straps to mount, and flops around, The Blue Ox attaches quickly and solidly to the tree with its built in heavy duty winch and strap. This makes it extremely easy to use. The solid mounting and quick rope guide means The Blue Ox is safe and easy to understand and very simple to teach your ground workers how to use. This saves a lot of time for the climber And the ground crew on every job. The Blue Ox has double 3.5 inch barrels for controlling two rigging ropes at once. The patented angle bollard design allows the ground worker to smoothly keep the rigging ropes running around the large bollards, while keeping close eye on the climber from any angle around the tree base. The Blue Ox weighs only 30 lbs! It is 16 inches long, 12 inches wide, and the barrels are 10 inches long. The back plate is 5/8's thick and the barrels are schedule 80 aluminum. This friction device will save you time and money ! It allows larger limbs to be balanced and moved safely from over houses, fences, garages, etc.  Larger pieces lowered quicker and safer means more jobs done faster with less liability. The Blue Ox will last you a lifetime! Comes with a 36 inch chrome winch bar included !! The Blue Ox is shown with 3/4" Stable braid rigging line, and accepts up to 7/8" lines.
