We purchased the wrong packages for our environment and we licensed TWO SEATS. We only needed the CAM part of the software. (We have and use our own licensed SolidWorks, and we only needed CAM converter so that we could generate our own G-code for our manufacturing.) We waited too long to exchange for needed SW CAM interface; BobCAD-CAM had already released v27. We are selling what we cannot use. If you are not already licensed in, familiar with, and facile in other CAD (design) software, this is package is particularly good for your use. The BobCAD (design) package is robust -- you can see for yourself: download their free trial of v27 from the BobCAD-CAM website! IF (as with us) you already have spent the (money and) time to learn and are familiar and happy with other robust CAD packages, what we’re selling is probably of less value for you. This is even a better deal for you if you have two people in your organization who you use for modeling/drafting and NC generation because the license is for two seats. When we purchased the proper interface for our SW software, BobCAD-CAM provided assurance that whomever purchases our unused, uninstalled, and unregistered v26 software will be regarded by BobCAD-CAM as the licensed owner on registration of 2 seats of the 3-D CAD, 3 axis milling software. WHEN YOU REGISTER, BOBCAD-CAM WILL CHARGE YOU A $100 ONE-TIME OWNERSHIP TRANSFER FEE (and it covers both seats.) THIS IS THEIR STANDARD PRACTICE whenever their software ownership changes.
