Well, guess what, you can do this by simply installing paging horns and buying an amplifier to power these horns. You can either buy 7.5 W horns or 15W. The amplifier needed is determined by the number of horns you have and their wattage. Suppose you have a 35 W amplifier, then you can support four 7.5 W horns (4 x 7.5 = 30W) or two 15 W horns (2 x 15W = 30). You don’t have to get a 15 W amplifier, you can buy a 35W, 60W or a 100W amp. If you have a 100 W amplifier you can support thirteen 7.5 horns or six 15 W horns. Another consideration is how noisy is the area being covered and how many square feet? Description The Bogen Model TPU15A is a unique 15-watt, wall-mounting amplifier, specifically designed for telephone paging applications. This compact unit provides voice-activated muting of music when paging, completely eliminating the need for manual activation of switches and the use of external relays. The page channel features automatic output leveling (ALC) as channel input varies, which is particularly important in telephone paging applications, where persons with varying voice levels and paging techniques have access to the system. Installation and maintenance are simple; all connections, adjustments, and mounting are accomplished with a screwdriver.
