Bookbinding Press Large Lying Handmade Solid Beech A large hand made new bookbinding Lying or Laying press with 48cm between centres. Made in solid Beech with turned handles and wooden screws. Traditionally crafted with jointed handles tightened by turned dowel as in a woodworking vice. This press as with our other finishing press can be turned over and used both as a straight edged press and bevelled edged. We can make this press smaller or larger if needed so please contact us with your requirements. This press is our most popular and has the advantage of being made so it can be used on both side either with the bevelled or the flat side.
