Vintage Paper Co Bookbinding Starter Kit Plus To buy all of these items separately would cost ?16+ This kit contains the basic tools you'll need to make a book at home. All of the tools are of the highest quality and as used in any professional bindery. 1x Black Horn Bone folder Made with black ox horn. Use this to fold, crease, burnish, smooth, poke, tease, push and pull! These are perhaps the most widely used of all tools in bookbinding and are great for all paper crafts. These folders are only available from Vintage Paper Co and are beautiful. Normally they retail at ?5.99 1x Bookbinding Awl Made in the UK especially for us these are perfect for making small holes in paper before sewing. 5x Bookbinding Needles These are the industry standard for bookbinding and are especially designed to take our bookbinding threads and to go through paper properly. Made of stainless steel, these are very strong and will last a long time before they need to be replaced. You will receive 3 Standard Size needles (used with lightweight and medium thread) and 2 Large Needles (used with thick bookbinding thread). Bookbinding Thread Two weights of strong waxed linen thread, especially manufactured for the craft of bookbinding. 10 meters of our medium gauge (25/3) thread which is great for most weights of paper and 10 meters of our thickest bookbinding thread (18/3). 10 metres should be enough to get you started and to make a book or two. Postage and Packaging Your item will be sent appropriately in protective packaging. We use biodegradable packaging as much as is practically possible. Please recycle responsibly. Postage and Packing Information Your item will be posted on the same day for orders received by 1pm. We post Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Orders received after this time will be posted the following working day. UK Delivery Options Free Delivery Sent via Royal Mail using standard class which is FREE within the UK and should take about 3 working days to arrive from the day of dispatch. P&P UK upgrade options Upgrading to '1st class Royal Mail' is available for a small additional fee; your item will normally arrive the following working day. Please note - If you buy more than one item from us this upgrade charge will cover all items bought (excluding papers). For example if you buy bookbinding thread and book-spine repair tape, one ?0.19 1st class upgrade will cover both items. Express Delivery Option Sent as 'Next Day Guaranteed' and under normal circumstances (excluding bank holidays and weekends etc) is guaranteed to arrive the following working day (Monday to Friday) by 1pm for orders received by 12pm (midday). P&P - Rest of the World Your items will be sent via Royal Mail. Even though your product is likely to be quite small (most of ours are) it has to be sent as a small parcel hence the parcel prices. International Standard (Europe and rest of the world) This option is sent as 'Air Mail' and will arrive anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks after dispatch, depending on where you live.
