Borescope Kollmorgen D.R.P. Vintage German Engineering Firearms Inspection. Two scopes: one provides a 90 degree, right angle view, the other is more like 45 degrees off axis. Each are about 31" long. The 90 degree scope is marked "No. 3096", the other has no number I can find. All metal parts are corrosion resistant nickel plated brass as was the custom on all good old equipment. There is an informative web page that explains D.R.P. patent markings I expect this piece is from Germany in the 1930's or 40's with possible application in firearms manufacture. Both have functioning optics, although I cant really vouch for the quality of any close-up imaging. You can see across the room at a light source and see details, but I expect it was designed for close-up viewing and not a periscope! The light bulbs are all no good. Both scopes are not shorted electrically (between conducting rings) and theoretically will work with the proper bulb and power supply. One of the electrical connectors looks good and complete, the other is just the wrench shaped connector head with no wires. The box closes, but has some problems with the veneer, see photos. The key is broken but is a very simple one and should be easy to replace. Selling as-is. Examine photos below, and ask any questions you might have before placing bids.
