Bosch Pneumatic Reversible Tapper / Druckluft-Gewindeschneider Model 0 607 461 413 Made in Germany Brand new and unused. Please look at the photos closely. The tapper has been sitting in the original box and accumulated a very small bit of surface rust on the blued parts and a muffler is not included. Otherwise it is perfect. Muffler available from a Bosch / Rexroth dealer or other pneumatic tool supplier. Comes with operating instructions (see photos) and 5mm chuck key that was shop-made by original owner before the tapper was put on a shelf. Accepts standard 1/4" air fitting. The original box will be included but is in poor condition. The tapper will be packaged carefully for shipment. This tapper is widely used as a portable tool for tapping threads into large stationary work pieces. No load speed: 400 rpm. Operating pressure: 90 psi. Weight: 1.6kg / 3.5lbs Further technical data shown in the photos. The tapper has an articulating / flexible and quick-change 2 jaw chuck with a 7/16" hexagonal shank. Note that commercially available taps require a slight modification (filing a small recess) for use with the articulating chuck -- see photos of operating instructions for detail. The purpose of the articulating chuck is to compensate for small inaccuracies resulting from handling. Torque can be adjusted by reducing air pressure with a separately installed reduction valve.
