BOSS® line of adhesives, grouts and lubricants are specifically formulated for use with pools and whirlpool baths. This is the large 10.3 oz tube. I purchased several tubes to fix my extra large pool and found that I didn't need as much as I thought to do a great, and so far, long lasting job. BOSS® 315 RTV 100% Silicone Rubber adhesive/sealant is a paste-like, one component material which cures to a tough, rubberysolid when exposed to moisture in the air. Since it will not flow ofits own weight, this sealant can be applied overhead or on sidewalljoints and surfaces without sagging, slumping or running off. It willadhere to clean metal, glass, most types of wood, silicone resins, vulcanized silicone rubber, ceramic, natural and synthetic fiber, aswell as painted and many plastic surfaces. BOSS® 315 has good resistance to weathering, vibration, moisture, ozone and extreme temperatures. It may be applied in sub-zero weather without loss of extrusion or physical property characteristics. Fully cured BOSS® 315 can be used for extended periods at temperatures up to 450°F (232°C), and for shorter periods as high as 500°F (260°C). Test have shown that even after two months at 450°F (232°C), or up to one week at 500°F (260°C), the sealant remains rubbery. BOSS® 315 USES: • Sealing windows in oven doors and flues on gas appliances, flanged pipe joints and access doors • Adhering auto and appliance trim, including metal, fabric and fabric backed plastics • Sealing trailers, truck cabs • Filleting and caulking joints in sheet metal stacks, ductwork, and equipment housings • Bonding gaskets in heating and refrigeration units • Sealing of marine cabins and windows • Antiabrasion coating • Bonding signs and sign letters • Attaching screwless brackets or nameplates and tacking plastic materials to metal • Formed-in-place gasket for gear boxes, compressors, pumps know before you bid I’m easy to work with but I do have some basic and reasonable terms and conditions.
