Here is the story with this machine. I rescued it from an antique shop, and despite being in pretty tough shape, everything on it was intact and functioning. As you can see nothing is broken on it. The seat was garbage, the second carriage bolt was missing, and everything else was quite rusty. The handles, amazingly, were in terrific shape. I had the entire machine sand blasted and then I coated it with an etching primer (gray) and epoxy paint (black). Because it has not been used except to make sure everything works, the paint in all of the wear areas will go from black back to the original metal with regular use. Seat is walnut and maple. All the wood I left raw so that someone can oil/poly/wax however they see fit. I added brass bushings/washers everywhere to keep it looking sharp and to keep the tightening of anything from ruining the paint. The grease holes in the axel are open and clear so that your choice of oil/grease may be applied. machine runs great, just add your own set of auger bits and timber frame something! Double head = two speeds. Perfect for building where electricity is not accessible. If properly maintained an cared for this tool should last indefinitely. email with questions! Thanks for looking!  Cheers!
