The post is a white color and made out of a polypropylene material. The length of the post is 5 feet and the width is 8 inches. This post can be used with signs up to 18 x 12 inches and 24 x 24 inches. We have inspected this item and have found there to be no damages. The tube and bottom of the post has some dust and a few scuff marks from prior storage/handling. The boxes have been flattened, opened and ripped on one side, but the defects of the box have no affect on the functionality of the post.
