The power supply is 208/220 Single Phase and the unit has an impressive Free Air CFM of 45 @ 100 PSI. This unit is controlled by a PLC (Programmable Logistic Controller), making One of the most remarkable features of this compressor is its quiet operation. It only emits 64 dba, which is equivalent to the sound comparison of a hair dryer. The unit also boasts of an NPT 3/4 вЂќ ball valve outlet. The Eaton Compressor Rotary Screw can run for 70,000 hours, provided that it is maintained properly. If you're still unfamiliar with Rotary Screw Compressors and how they differ from other units such as piston-type ones, let us explain. A low RPM piston-type compressor can last for thousands of hours but must maintain a maximum duty cycle range of 80/20. Meanwhile, high RPM piston pumps advertised at 100% duty cycle are not possible for many years of use due to high heat that the valves incur. With a piston-type machine (low RPM of 600-800), you can run up to 80% duty cycle. Beware of other companies offering "free freight." The air and oil are mixed together and then the oil separated air is then run through an air-cooled aluminum aftercooler that pulls a tremendous amount of heat off the air on the output side. The oil is then cooled through an oil cooler, which recirculates it back to the air oil tank. There is a built-in thermostatic oil valve, which controls the heat in the oil.
