Fully adjustable temperature with accurate thermocouple controller ( not a poor quality simmerstat controller ) from room temperature , fully adjustable accurate temperature control from 20 degrees up to 500 degrees . The hotplate has a thermocouple ( PID ) control heating circuit together with advanced microprocessor control which gives the hotplate a more accurate temperature (+/- 1C DEGREE , AT 100C DEGREES , +/- 5C DEGREES , AT 500 DEGREES ) control from room temperature and fully adjustable up to 500C degree . The highest temperature ( 500C degrees ) gives excellent boil speed time.The best in the market . Check the specification of the rest . The unit is perfect for accurate chemical mixing , oil extraction , processing , sand baths or wafer heating . Our models are fitted with a high specification ceramic heaters ( only budget hotplate on the market fitted with this type of heater ) , not a mica heating element , fast ramp up time and it will not burn out or loose performance after 6 months . The stir control has accurate adjustment and powerful magnets and internal motor , the stir control has SSC ( soft start control ) with sensor feedback control on motor , makes stirring process consistent and prevents any disengagement and bumping of the stir bar in the solution even when stir control is adjusted to maximum quickly , with up to a 15 litre stir capacity , fully adjustable speed stir control from 30rpm up to 2000rpm. Safety indicator LEDs on the front panel of the unit indicate when the heating and / or the stirring functions have been activated . The hotplate has a black ceramic top Plate, which is highly chemical / acid resistant. Also has faster thermo contact heating ramp rate than white ceramic. The ceramic tile sits in a stainless steel support , great for cleaning and helps avoid contamination .
