I realize that they may seem excessive at times, but I can assure you that we do not make money by overcharging on the shipping. We use the automatic postage calculator provided by eBay (on every package that weighs over 1 pound), which determines the shipping charges based on the weight of the package. Every package that weighs over 1 pound costs a minimum of $6.12 to ship to neighboring states and about $11.42 to ship to the West Coast. And that's just for packages weighing between 1-2 pounds. It goes up from there. In fact we actually lose money on the shipping since eBay charges us 10% of what you pay for shipping as is their policy and we often times upgrade the service to Priority Mail at no additional charge.
