PLEASE NOTE: That one of the rubber feet was broken and glued back together using Gorilla Glue, so it should be good as new (See pictures 4 & 5). Otherwise it's never been used before and the handle hasn't even been attached yet. X-Acto® 15" Heavy-duty paper trimmer in maple color measures 2 1/2" x 16" x 16 1/2" and features tension spring blades made of self-sharpening steel for long durability. X-Acto® 15" Heavy-duty paper trimmer in maple color includes adjustable/sliding paper guide for perfect alignment. Trimmer is capable of cutting up to 15 sheets of 20 lb paper and has 1/2" permanently printed grid pattern. I realize that they may seem excessive at times, but I can assure you that we do not make money by overcharging on the shipping. We use the automatic postage calculator provided by eBay (on every package that weighs over 1 pound), which determines the shipping charges based on the weight of the package. Every package that weighs over 1 pound costs a minimum of $6.12 to ship to neighboring states and about $11.42 to ship to the West Coast. And that's just for packages weighing between 1-2 pounds. It goes up from there. In fact we actually lose money on the shipping since eBay charges us 10% of what you pay for shipping as is their policy and we often times upgrade the service to Priority Mail at no additional charge. We understand your frustration when it comes to shipping charges but unfortunately, they are what they are. But keep in mind that you don't have to pay sales tax (if you are out of state) and that you save time and money by not having to leave your home to make this purchase so that must be worth something to you.
