Brandt model 1200 series (likely a model 1205) commercial/professional coin counter and sorter. This coin counter is in great working and operational condition. As I was told when I originally purchased it, this counter came out of the regional headquarters of a large retail chain. It appears to be maintained really well and even has a label attached from the previous owner instructing on daily cleaning procedures. Machine comes with a power cord and is ready to count and sort your change. Just dump your U.S. coins into the hopper and the machine counts, sorts, and totals your amount. The coins are sorted into various bins of different denominations: $0.10 (dimes), $0.01 (pennies), $0.05 (nickels), $0.25 (quarters), and $0.50 (fifty-cent pieces). The LCD display screen is clean and accurate. Once a batch of coins is run through it, the screen will display the total amount of money in the batch and the coins are sorted into the propper bin. I tested this counter out about a dozen times with different amounts of change and every time the results were accurate and correct. There's even a magnet in the coin hopper to pull out any magnetic items before the coins are sorted and counted - for example, the magnet pulled out several magnetic foreign coins that I had accidentally mixed in with my U.S. currency. This machine operates on 120 volts, 60 Hz, 3.0A...it will run on a normal U.S.-type plug. The rear panel appears to allow connection to a printer (not included) and/or other attachments (not included). Model number on the back of the machine states, "Model 1200 Series", but this appears similar to other machines I've seen identified as model 1205. Also included are a couple of plastic coin counters/rollers. These plastic coin counters help with manually counting and rolling each type of coin - pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters - into paper coin rolls (paper coin rolls not included). See photos. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find a user's manual for this machine, but it isn't too hard to figure out. Basic operation instructions are printed on the front of the machine and I learned the basic operation within a few minutes of playing with it. The only thing lacking with this coin sorter that I know of is a missing clear plastic cover which goes over the top-right portion of the sorting bins. But most of the sorters that I've seen similar to this are also missing this plastic cover. It does not affect operationality of the machine - it still works just fine! Winning bidder/buyer must make payment by PayPal within 5 days of auction ending. Shipping weight is approximately 60 lbs and item will be shipped by UPS Ground or FedEx Ground (unless buyer prefers another faster method at buyer's expense) to only U.S. addresses.
